I am pleased to announce that CAWS 2025-2026 Membership is open. Our purpose is to unite dynamic educators committed to the International Baccalaureate while serving as a regional advocate. Join us in our shared mission and be part of a globally focused learning community, grounded in local impact.
Services Provided by CAWS to all California IB Schools
- CAWS IB Training in San Diego and at Lake Tahoe, CA.
- Annual Fall Forum where IB Educators come together to share best practices, network and work with IB Managers.
- Invitations to attend CAWS roundtables Virtual CAWS Virtual Roundtables which provide collaboration on best practices and further networking.
- Advocacy with the California state legislature.
- Advocacy with the California Department of Education.
- Advocacy for University and College recognition.
- Representation and advocacy at IB Global Conference, IB Association Meetings and IB Provider Meetings on behalf of California IB Educators and students.
- Email updates on CAWS events and changes in California legislative measures and university recognition policies.
EXCLUSIVE CAWS MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
- A $50.00 discount on each registration fee for our Fall Forum when your programme is listed as a CAWS Member School on our website prior to this event.
- CAWS Member discounts for our vendor products and services.
- CAWS Exemplary Teacher Awards - Each Member IB Programme is eligible to submit one applicant per CAWS Member Programme for our PYP, MYP, DP & CP Awards for $500.00 each. Eligibility is based on your membersip being posted on our website by December 17, 2025.
- CAWS 2026 Student of the Year Awards, SOTY - Each Member IB Programme is eligible to select one students for this $200.00 award. Membership dues must be received by March 31, 2026 and SOTY Application must submitted by April 8, 2026.

Reminder - a PO is not a payment. Payments are made by a credit card charge or deposited check. As payments are processed by CAWS, your Programme Membership will be posted on our website.
Membership in the California Association of IB World Schools (CAWS) organization is extended to all IB schools in the state of California. The price of annual membership is $200 for each Authorized IB Program and $100.00 for Candidate schools.
All membership fees will be allocated for the CAWS Student of the Year and IB Teacher Awards.
