With the deadline for the Governor to sign legislation now passed, CAWS’ legislative advocates will be providing you with a general update on legislation as well as other state issues. Here’s a summary of our plans for the webinar:
- Quick review of past legislative session, other state efforts and a bill round-up.
- An update on the State Board of Education’s recent actions to add additional measures to the College/Career Indicator for the 2021 California State Dashboard,
- An update on the State’s current work to develop an ethnic studies model curriculum.
There will also be time at the end of the webinar for participants to ask our advocates any questions they may have about the most recent legislative session, COVID-19, back-to-school policies, or other areas of concern.
