The order is intended to help those schools with increasing cases of the COVID-19 Delta variant.
This order is a step in the right direction since we're hearing from clients across the state that the staffing impacts from all that's going on are unworkable. We're hoping the Governor will take additional steps to address COVID-19 delta variant impacts, including clarifying the recently enacted Independent Study statutes and alleviating the contact tracing burden placed upon schools instead of public health agencies.
