This event will take place in Costa Mesa at the Orange County Department of Education on October 27, 2025. I am excited to join the CAWS board this year! I bring nearly 30 years of experience in education and a strong belief in the transformative value of the IB PYP program. I supported our school’s IB journey as a founding teacher and now am honored to be our IB coordinator, working alongside extremely dedicated and talented teachers, staff and administrators at Casita Center, an IB World School with a STEM focus. I have enjoyed and grown as an IB educator by attending numerous events sponsored by CAWS.
In my capacity as a CAWS board member, I hope to pay this forward by sharing insights into developing strong IB school systems and structures, developing our IB networking communities, and advocating for dynamic, agentic engagement with the elements of the PYP program.
