Mission

The California Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools (CAWS) serves as a trusted resource and advocate for IB educators in Primary, Middle, Diploma, and Career Programs.

Vision

The California Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools (CAWS) is the leader in effectively advocating for an IB education. CAWS provides world-class professional development and fosters a dynamic, inclusive network which promotes innovation and collaboration.

CAWS Goals

CAWS will empower California educators by serving as the leading provider of IB resources and professional learning, helping schools implement and strengthen  working with California institutions to better recognize the value of an IB education all four IB programmes statewide.

CAWS will promote equitable recognition and enhance student access by being a leading advocate for IB program recognition building partnerships with universities, governing bodies, as well as the IBO.
