As the Legislature wraps up its frenetic last weeks of session for 2023, we want to remind you that the Fall is a wonderful time to reach out to your local legislator and work on relationship-building. Members love to visit schools to see how students are learning.
This Fall, your CAWS team will be preparing for next year’s legislative session as well as for budget conversations which begin in January. The good news on the budget front is that revenue projections might be improving as the economy continues to chug along.
You may have heard about the Governor’s recent call to better organize work-to- career education through an executive order. As always, IB is ahead of the curve on this issue. Please join us for an engaging roundtable discussion tailored for IB Diploma Programme schools contemplating the addition of the IB Career-related Programme (CP). In today's ever-evolving educational landscape, the CP stands as a dynamic avenue for widening access to the IB framework.
During the roundtable on September 28, 5:00-6:00PM PDT, folks will collectively explore strategies, share best practices, exchange stories of success, and create a collaborative environment for open dialogue.
